Flora and Fauna
The forest is home to fast growing number of hardwood tree species growing in nature like mahogany, musizi and others. It is also home to various wildfruits and herbs of medicinal value. The owners grow coffee in a few selected spots in the forest. The lakefront has a big watershed where River Kawanga empties into Lake Victoria a major fish spawning ground especially for tilapia.
